(an ode to the pandemic during + present)

I too resist quieting & becoming still. I chase patience.
In this pause…The selfish in me + what is selfless appears.
In the pause… I discern between holding truth & letting lies I have been loyal to go. A gentle voice whispers, "I have been here before.
“STAY.
BREATHE.”
Seated comfortably in the uncomfortable, the veils of who i "think" i am, black & White ways of being, heights & Depths, time, Past & Future, fade away.
"BREATHE"
I clear the "cached data” & embrace the unknown. Dualities dissolve into inner harmony.
And in this new space of effortless stillness I witness... My breath. My core. My center. The same voice returns & whispers, "I am love". Here I rest.
present.
Take a moment. Rest, be still.
Witness the beauty that surrounds you, know, this too, is within.
The seer & the seen become one. The veils of separation fall.
Let joy flow in. Allow peace + grace to wash your soul.
Bathe in bliss.
