At 23 years old, I am an actor based in Toronto pursuing a path that many would consider unconventional. In a world that often encourages people to follow a stable route, I chose to follow my ambition based on perseverance and faith. Growing up, I rarely saw people who looked like me leading stories on screen. That absence became an opportunity to become the person I needed when I was a child.
My journey is still unfolding. Every audition, opportunity, and setback has taught me that greatness is not a destination but a commitment to continuous growth. Choosing this path requires courage: the courage to believe in yourself when others don't understand your vision, and the resilience to keep moving forward despite obstacles. Through acting, I hope to inspire others to pursue their ambitions regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or background. We may not be able to control our past, but we can set sight upon our destiny. I want people to know that their background does not define their potential. We all have the ability to create a new beginning for ourselves. We all have the right to find our dreams come true.
For me, this chapter is about betting on myself, becoming the person I set out to be, and proving that extraordinary things can happen when people believe in what inspires them.
