This year was all about overcoming obstacles. I started the year with losing my job and my cat within 36 hours of each other. It was really hard, and it’s still hard to deal with, but you really see who’s there for you in the hard times, and I don’t know where I’d be, physically and mentally, without those people.
I think we are raised/conditioned to believe that we are what we do, but at the end of the day, we are just human. Humans who feel things and just want to be loved. Humans who just want to belong. I really appreciate those who’ve been to lift me up, those who helped me get over the hurt and failures. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them.
